Because one's perspective affects what behaviours qualify as self-care, the term "self-care" has varied meanings for different people. One person might like running, as an illustration. Although they may not find jogging particularly fun in and of itself, they would have set a goal for themselves at the outset and would have felt a sense of accomplishment upon achieving that objective, making it worthwhile in the process. This demonstrates that it can be considered self-care even when it doesn't feel like it.
Therefore, it
is possible to define self-care as a person's actions to take the greatest possible care of their physical and emotional well-being. When choosing which activities to include in your self-care routine, it's crucial to strike a balance. In other words, there needs to be a healthy balance between activities that generate happiness right once and those that wait until they are completed.
