John 14:27
"Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid'"
The peace that Christ brings into our lives is everlasting peace. It sustains our sould; it fills our being. It supports us every day. No matter what difficulties we face, nothing can rob us of that perfect peace that Christ gives us. We have the serenity of His presence with us, and His peace enables us to live without fear and anxiety.
Perfect trust in God brings perfect peace. This what humankind needs - peace. If there were peace in the heart of every person, we would not face the unrest that is all around us. Pray for peace fo all people. Jesus Christ, the Prince of peace, brings His perfect peace into our hearts.
Than You, Lord Jesus, that You are the everlasting peace, and that Your presence here enables me to be at peace with my small area of the world. I pray that the world would know Your peace and go forth each day bringing that peace with them. What a difference Your peace makes to my living! Amen.
