Never give up on Hope

A fact of life is, it isn't easy. Every day brings new challenges and unforseen circumstances that are out of our control. Some may say there is no "handbook" to help us navigate the difficult times we face but I beg to differ. My handbook and daily guide is the Bible. It covers absolutely everything that needs to be addressed in our lives. One of the things the Bible tells us is that there is nothing new under the sun, meaning that the Bible is as valid today as it as over 2000 years ago. Scripture contains all we need to navigate this life we are living.

This means we have hope, we don't have to blunder through life believing that this is it. Regardless of our circumstances and our tough times we can trust that things will turn out for the best when we allow God to direct our steps. The world wants to tell us that there is absolutely no hope but we have the choice whether we will believe it or not. When we believe the lies of this world we get dragged down and it can lead to depression, uneccesary stress and so many other emotions and situations. When we believe the Word of God we know that things might still be tough but we have a lifeline that will get us through it.

God's love for us far outweighs our situations and feelings.

An important thing to remember is that God uses all things for the good of those who love Him. He never promised us a cushy life but He did promise to walk with us every step of the way. He uses the tough times we go through to make us stronger. After a storm there is always bright sunshine and God wants us to find the beauty in life regardless of what we are facing and when we look hard enough we will find hope and joy.

Psalm 28:7 says - The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thants to Him.

Psalm 73:26 says - My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

So, take heart. Although life doesn't make sense to you or you feel like life isn't fair, you have a God who is there for you and is waiting for you. Allow Him to give you hope in the midst of the storm and to bring you peace.

In your own strength you can't through your darkest days but with the help of God you can overcome anything and you can have victory in your life.
